Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about LeaderSetu demos, websites, customer accounts, citizen data, domains, subscriptions and current product boundaries.

LeaderSetu is a digital public-leadership platform that combines a professional public website with structured office tools. Depending on the active plan, the same customer account can manage website content, citizen records, grievances, programmes, volunteers, reporting and team access.

Enter basic leader details, choose a party or organisation theme and website layout, upload a photograph and create a real 30-day preview. The preview uses the same CMS structure as an activated customer account, so it is more than a static mockup.

No. The demo can be created without payment. Public plan prices are temporarily hidden during the current manual commercial rollout, and activation is handled separately after you decide that the product fits your office.

The existing demo is used for checkout. After an authorised Platform Owner confirms the agreed offline payment, the same customer account is activated in place and a one-time activation link is issued for customer login setup.

No. The activation workflow converts the existing preview in place. Its customer ID, uploaded images, homepage content, theme and website layout are preserved instead of creating a replacement website.

Yes. Add the domain from the customer application and follow the DNS values shown there. You can also request setup assistance. Your domain can remain registered with your existing provider; you do not need to transfer ownership to LeaderSetu.

No. Never share your registrar or DNS-provider password. Domain setup should use the exact DNS record values shown in the customer application, or you can make the change yourself while the support team guides you.

Yes. Leader Profile, Civic Modern and Campaign Bold read from the same customer content. Switching the website layout changes presentation without duplicating or deleting the CMS records behind the site.

Yes. Party or organisation theme and website layout are separate presentation controls. This allows the team to update colours, logo or visual identity without creating a second copy of the website content.

Yes. A customer can use Hindi only, English only or a bilingual language switch where configured. The website keeps the selected language mode within the same customer account rather than requiring separate sites.

Yes. The customer workspace supports team membership and role-based permissions. Authorised users can work with the areas allowed by their role, while server-side permission checks protect restricted actions.

A citizen can submit an issue and receive a tracking reference. The customer office can then manage the case internally through its authorised workflow, including status and follow-up. Public tracking is deliberately limited so private complaint details are not exposed.

Customer records are isolated internally, access is permission based, important actions are audit logged and sensitive operations are enforced server-side. Customer teams remain responsible for collecting and using personal information only for an appropriate, disclosed and consented purpose.

Where the active plan and user permission allow it, operational records can be exported for legitimate office use. Export access is treated as a protected capability rather than exposing customer data to every team member.

No. LeaderSetu provides software and hosting technology. Customer-provided identity, office, party affiliation, achievements, photographs and political claims remain the responsibility of the customer and are not independently endorsed by the platform.

No. Political bulk WhatsApp sending and social-post generation or publishing are parked in the current rollout. Historical records may be retained for audit continuity, but the customer product does not currently provide an active bulk-send or social-publishing workflow.

Yes. Plans and entitlements are attached to the existing customer account. An eligible account can move to a more capable plan without recreating the public website or starting a parallel CRM.

The platform has renewal reminders and a controlled lifecycle for expiry, grace period and suspension. Exact commercial and retention terms should follow the customer agreement and active service policy.
